That being said you can still your imagination and go wild. So warband is closer to other rpg games but bannerlord is closer to grand strategy games. Some people don't find it very exciting but I do. This improves/worsen your relations with the other lords and may have some impact on let's say your city management or army management. On the other hand you can for example enact laws in bannerlord. It is fun and should be implemented in bannerlord (they gonna probably do it at some point) but that doesn't really have any impact on your campaign. People make such a fuss about bannerlord not having this feature unjustifably. In the previous titles you could do some more let's say personnel things such as beating up a drunkard in the tavern.
